Basic Training tasks
We’re going to use this page to step through some basics.
- First, select and copy all of the content on this page.
- Create a page of your own, give it a title and save it with “Sandbox” as its parent.
- Congratulations! You’ve created a Page stub!
- Paste the content from this page onto your new page and save
Select a header pattern for your page. Hint: look for this in the upper left
Blocks
Open list view. Hint: Look for this in the upper left
Open the editor settings. Hint: look for this in the upper right
Select any block by clicking on it in list view.
Click on the three-dot ‘kebab’ menu and check out the list of options it gives you. These same options apply to pretty much any block.
Text
Open Outline view. Hint: look for this next to the words ‘List view’
Check your heading hierarchy in the outline.
Edit headings so that outline view resembles an actual outline.
Photos
Add an image.
Duplicate your image.
Lists and groups
Create a list from this task and the ones that follow.
Move your duplicate image down to just before your list.
Create a group made up of your image and your list.
Select your group and set alignment to full-width.
Save and see how it looks on the front end (if you haven’t already).
